Mantra Restaurant  

The word Mantra is a Sanskrit word combining the two syllables , "Man" – meaning “Mind” and “tra “ translated as “deliverance”. A Mantra is a most powerful and pure sound – vibration intended to deliver the mind from the illusion and material inclinations. Mantras are chanted with “108 beaded” rosaries mala to achieve the respected goal. In Vedic times our sages would chant the special Mantra to light the Fire for cooking purposes.

We at Mantra do not light the fires in the same way , but do want to give you all a feel of our rich culture, do appreciate it and enjoy the food cooked in this pure and holistic environment by our experienced Chefs. Our chefs strive to craft and cook the most authentic and freshest food – Indian food, as it should be.

The skill of using spices comes not only with knowing what spices to use, but also how to use them. Spices enhance flavour and add that “Zing” to the food, and it is the spices that make the Indian cuisine so distinctive.
